This new custom home is the second phase of the Garden Rock House project. The previous project was sited on the upper building site for this uniquely shaped property. For this project, the existing house on the lower building site will be removed and a new home is planned in its place. The design retains the footprint of a previously approved addition that required a setback variance.
The new single-story residence will be an L-shaped structure that utilizes the existing bench and extends over a down sloping portion of the site. The roof will be a butterfly form opening to the expansive adjacent open space views on one end and early sunrise views to the east. The material selection will be standing metal seam roofing, horizontal wood siding, and black aluminum windows and doors.
